i miss D2B....
saturday was dunman's speech day. of course, i didn't attend to receive any prize. my main intention was to actually meet up with my old buddies once again. oh, i so missed them. the 4Bians even took a picture at the exact same spot where we took our last class pic. ah, bliss =)i dare not think when will be the next time we'll ever get to take another shot like this again.....
and i finally got my PRU cd from who else but vrm herself. she's never free, isn't she? heh~
the ceremony itself was alright i guess. one can't expect much from such an event. there was a sea of 'environmentally-friendly' people. heh~ even so, kev's speech did make me reminisce about the 4 years i've spent over in DMN. there was even a standing ovation for the 2 science teachers. i was at the gallery beside Mrs.Lim when someone mentioned her name about the science results. i turned to look beside her and smiled, and she somehow returned a shy smile? though i dropped to combi.sci back in sec 4, i still have a sense of gratitude towards her. she may be stern when she teaches, but deep down is one helluva caring person.
anyway, the gals + ky went to watch 'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory'. i'd think that this movie is for fantasy-lovers. not really my type of movie. i wonder what i'd expected out of the movie. ah well~
accompanied xian to PS cos she wanted to get some stuff from spotlight. on the way to bugis to meet my parents for dinner at Siam Kitchen, saw YL & his gf. they looked happy in each other's company.
was supposed to go to Mustafa's after dinner, but apparently the way i dressed was inappropriate for sucha a place(according to my mum that is) well, maybe it IS true =X
sunday was supposedly to be spent on studyin accounts. okay, i did learn some things at least. but most of the day was spent with much uneasiness. i don't even want to think about it but i'm just glad that that day was over. speakin of accounts, i'm so gonna flunk the test. seriously, what IS a trial balance if it doens't even balance? goodness.
but honest to God, i'd never plunge into the accouting area once this academic year is over. i just don't see myself doing accounting for the rest of my working life, sitting at the desk and working out transactions, dabbling in journals, ledgers and what not. i see myself analyzing stock markets. more of the financing area so to speak. in the mean time, i've to scrape through accounts with at least a C+
tuesday was national day. town was crowded. like duh. escalator of death. hah!the fireworks were nice. if we'd been any closer, it would have been amazing. and i'm gonna do something with my hair real soon~~!
i just can't wait final exams to be over and done with. i wanna do stuff that i hardly have time for nowadays. sitting by the beach. watching tv. catchin' up with my ol' friends. sighhhh
