emo. suddenly everythin' just overwhelms me.
family. sometimes, you tend to take them for granted cos' they're always there. but what happens when in just a blink of an eye, they just disappear. did you ever tell them behind it all, the laughter and pain, that you love them so?
friendship. they're ever so fragile but, it takes just a lil' effort everytime to maintain it. friends are the family God forgot to give you. "if you have even one close friend, you're blessed". i'm blessed.
faith. i believe in Him but, there are still questions that i have yet unanswered. about life. about the world. about myself.
relationships. something in me is being skeptical bout it at this point of my life. i actually wasn't that skeptical bout it until some magician proved me right. hah.
career. i thought i was doing well in my studies. but then i realised i'm actually not even though i wouldn't have done things any differently. then there's after the diploma. am i able to achieve that degree and get that job i find so self-fulfilling?
nation. i know this isn't really a big issue (for people of my age at least) but i saw this program on Discovery Channel on how Singapore has evolved into a city state and how it's trying to develop further through the arts and stuff. how the Singapore Girl has become some sort of national icon. and then there's the government. in other countries there are actually party contests, like the one in USA, Republicans and Democrats. even though there's still the presence of an opposition member, power is still in the members of the ruling party. maybe Singapore's too fragile as a small nation. as the program said, "USA's like an aeroplane in the air, while Singapore's like a canoe on water". i just wonder what Singapore will be like in 50 years' time.
world. i still don't understand all the riots, bombings and stuff. whatever happend to conflict management? give peace a chance. please.
live each day as if it was your last.
