hoho. i'm back from tokyo. actually i was back like 24 hours ago but didn't have the discipline to actually blog, that was until now.

so yeah, the trip there was okay i guess. i wasn't really into the whole japan trip. i'd like to see it as me accompanying my parents on a trip to ensure that they don't squabble too much. hah.

those anticipating souveniers or presents, i've none for you. waha. but i've lots of food stuff to offer. any takers?

the people of Japan are generally polite. no matter if you just happen to walk pass their outlet, or ride their buses, they'll thank you for it with a nice bow. sometimes i pay for my stuff at the cashiers, those personnel would be saying something in Japanese that i obviously don't comprehend. i'd just smile.

and i've come to realise that one should not go shopping there UNLESS you're filthy rich. the shopping malls there are Paragon-priced, with brands like Gucci and Cartier lining the streets. even their Isetan has Burberry and Juicy Couture.

Shibuya 109 gives me a sense of Far East Plaza's Level One in terms of its outlook, and definitely not its prices. $120 for a jacket which i could probably get at $30 in SG. but of course, the quality and design is there

one thing i like about Japan is that they are non-conformists. they wear whatever they like, yet they carry out their own usual daily stuff. i saw a Japanese girl in quite a Gothic style, yet she wore those round metallic glasses. kudos to her. even office women ride bicycles to work.

and their toilets are oh-so-cool. there's a seat warmer, a flusher sound to cover up any noise one wouldn't want the 'neighbours' to hear, built-in with volume control, and a jet water spray to wash your ass.

Japanese people don't take much sugar in their food, nor salt. no wonder they seem so healthy.

ooooo, and the bullet train ride was cool. from the outside, it's like zooming past so fast, but inside it's like any other train ride, even though the train is travelling at 270km/h. being in the train station was stressful enough. everyone's like rushing everywhere, and there are so many train lines that i sometimes think that the Japanese themselves get confused.

no wonder 26 people in Japan commit suicide EVERYDAY, or was it more than that. and they normally commite suicide on a Monday morning, after they've enjoyed their time with their loved ones over the weekends. and you think Singapore is stressful. hah.

travelled up to view Mount Fuji. not really a clear view though.

i'm sick of eating fish. lols.

and i've come to realise that i'm neither a plane person, nor a morning person, meaning that i don't like to be disturbed when i'm on the plane, nor early in the morning. i'll get all cranky.

hoho. no pics to show =X

i spent the Saturday at home, just lazing around. Singapore is still home. even if i went back to Japan, i'd probably go to Kyoto or Hokkaido.

at around 8, Jhon called me up while i was watching Prison Break, which is actually due to air on Channel 5 on Thursday, but my brother had already downloaded the whole season. looks interesting.

oh yeah, don't ask me bout my results. seriously. i'll just say that i got my first distinction for a 'not-so-important' subject, which would be French. lols.

so anyways, went to meet Sarah. had planned to have prata, but the place was full, so we just settled for KFC. finally, CHICKEN. waha.

called Mhirah up cos i needed a favour from her. what kinda favour? you'll know by the end of next week or so.

Me: Hello. Do you know who this is? (hadn't spoken to her in ages)
Her: Of course i know. Your voice is so distinct.

Is that even a good or bad thing? But apparently to her, it's a good thing. hah.

went off to meet FX after that, who'd just knocked off from work. sat at the pineapple, but shifted to some senior citizen's corner cos it was beginning to drizzle.

so yeah, i just got back home like half an hour ago.

ooooo, i forgot to mention that when i was at the departure hall from Singapore, there were fans standing outside the airport with posters in hand. i was looking around and realised there was this Japanese/Korean star barely a metre away from me. and seriously, up till now, i still don't know who he is. maybe some Shinhwa guy? hoho. i'd bet some of those girls out there were dying to switch places with me at the moment. i couldn't even be bothered with him. waha.
